Sleepy’s are seeking an experienced National Training Business Partner, on a full-time basis at our Eagle Farm office. The ideal candidate will have a passion for L&D process improvement, people engagement, emerging technologies and innovations in training.
About the role
Reporting to the Head of Retail, this role will see the ideal candidate working across a mix of company and franchise owned stores, to implement strategies to improve the bottom line, and align with business objectives. You will have proven experience in training, facilitation and coaching, working with the leadership team through to individual team members in store.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement training plans to improve and drive sales through all stores
- Identify, develop and deliver training programs in an online and offline capacity
- Conduct inductions for company store team members and franchisees
- Develop and keep up to date various training manuals as needed
- Coordinate, create and implement the digitalisation of learning and training content
- Leveraging a blended learning approach that includes online learning, virtual sessions, self-directed learning as well as face to face workshops, sessions and modules, and 1:1 coaching
- Regular travel required, including interstate
- Create a training matrix, conduct a training needs analysis to identify training gaps, provide direct training prospects
- Engage, coach and support leaders to facilitate and implement learning initiatives
- Flexible and able to adapt to changing needs across the business, leaning in to assist where required
Skills, qualifications and experience
- Cert 4 in Training and Assessing
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role, with a background in the retail and franchise industry advantageous
- Excellent facilitation skills, both online and face to face, to frontline operations teams
- A proven ability to build strong and effective interpersonal relationships with key stakeholders
- Highly developed emotional intelligence, reasoning skills, adaptability and resilience
- Self-driven and ability to manage own schedule with conflicting priorities
- Ability to engage and influence team members, colleagues and management
