Absolute Crane Solutions is seeking a competent Administration/Bookkeeper for our office located in Moolap (Geelong), VIC.
The successful candidate will have previous experience in an Administrator/Bookkeeper role. Knowledge of the crane and construction industry is preferred but not essential as there will be thorough training provided.
ACS is a family owned business that has been in operation for over 10 years.
Qualifications & experience
- Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping preferred.
- At least 2 yrs experience as a bookkeeper.
- Strong skills in using Microsoft suite and Xero.
- The ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and a ‘can do’ attitude.
- Must have initiative, be reliable, motivated, organised as well as possess high attention to detail.
- Able to develop and execute efficient systems and processes.
Tasks & responsibilities
- General administration
- Invoice all clients on a weekly basis.
- Closely monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with clients for prompt payments.
- Process Payroll weekly.
- Reconcile invoices and receipts.
- Engage with staff, subcontractors, suppliers and any other stakeholders to issue purchase orders and track future expenses.
- Liaise with staff for weekly timesheet, data entry into the timesheet register and prepare payroll for payment.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Prepare end of month process including Balance Sheet.
- Maintain accurate records and reporting.
- Assist in the onboarding process for new clients & staff by gathering necessary information, setting up their accounts and other relevant documentation.
- Assist in gathering together project start up documentation, safety packs and documentation.
