Office and Accounts Assistant – Part time - OFFICE BASED
JVL Investment Group is a private high net-worth single family office based at Milton, Brisbane. We have a substantial property portfolio along with a property development business. Our investment portfolio also includes a variety of non-property financial assets.
An opportunity has arisen for an Office and Accounts administration resource and to join our team. The role is office based for a minimum of 20 hours per week over 4 or 5 days. This can be school hours, with reduced hours on school holidays.
You will be undertaking various tasks across the business including:
- Daily receipting of tenant rental payments
- Preparing bank reconciliations
- Bookkeeping (such as journal entries).
- Responsible for office policies and procedures.
- Accounts payable processing
- Accounts receivable backup.
- Accounts payable backup.
- Assist with leasing administration such as following up tenant insurances and bank guarantees.
- General office duties and administrative support
- Courier bookings
- Stationary orders
Experience
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Have experience in a similar role within the real estate industry
- Strong computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across the business and to build and maintain relationships with relevant stakeholders
- You enjoy the challenge of managing multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritising to achieve timelines
- Experience with MRI and/or NEXUS payables desirable. Or the ability to quickly learn new software systems
- Experience in the property industry also desirable
