Office Furniture Group T/A Schoolfurn is a 100% Australian owned company and is a leader in supply of Office and school furniture.  Good chance your child/grandchild is sitting on our furniture at school as we provide furniture to over 1000 schools in Victoria and interstate.

Accounts payable - School Furniture 

We have an opportunity for a person who has experience primarily in Accounts payable but also Office Management.

This position is ideally suited for a professional who already has experience in the office management, human resources and international payments.  Current connections with education facilities will be considered favourably.

Key responsibilities include;

  • General office management;
  • Finance for international payments;
  • Payment of monthly accounts;
  • Payment of staff wages,

Additional responsibilities include but not limited to;

  • review prices and quality and ensure optimum stock levels;
  • evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts and prepare reports;
  • research potential vendors;
  • compare and evaluate offers from suppliers;
  • negotiate terms of agreement and pricing;
  • track orders and ensure timely delivery;
  • review quality of purchased products;
  • enter order details into company database, (Dolibbar);
  • review records of products, delivery information and invoices;
  • co-ordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper storage;
  • greeting company visitors;
  • review administrative systems including ISO 9001 and 14001;
  • managing office expenditure and budgets and
  • oversee accounting responsibilities (Liaise with Accounts Personnel)
