ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a results driven, dynamic and professional Operations Manager for our Brisbane office. This is a fixed term 12 month role, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role.
The role would suit someone with up to 10 years’ experience in a similar operations and office management role, with excellent attention to detail and organisation skills, excellent communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders, and excellent time management skills, including working to deadlines.
The Operations Manager holds a central role in the day-to-day operations of the regional business, providing exceptional oversight, ensuring the seamless management of critical functions while extending professional support to the regional Leadership Team. The Operations Manager provides oversight of regional financials, billing, resourcing, events, and marketing and communications. The Operations Manager also has the opportunity to participate as a contributor to group-wide initiatives and working groups.
As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for:
Serve as a liaison for the Regional General Manager, aimed at streamlining and minimizing their involvement in operational activities.
Align the business with the vision and strategy crafted by the Board and Senior Leadership Team.
Exercise supervision over resource management, revenue, business operation budgets, and day-to-day activities and processes.
Support the Regional General Manager and Senior Leadership Team with talent acquisition activities.
Provide professional support to, and actively participate as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
Oversee regional onboarding processes for new starters including the oversight of culture and staff retention.
Work closely with the P&C Business Partner on regional people and culture initiatives and help coordinate activities.
Address and solve issues related to project financials.
Collaborate with the Regional General Manager and Senior Leadership Team to manage and monitor regional financials, overseeing monthly billing and mid-month financials reviews.
Provide training and support to Project Directors when required.
Ensure the identification and assignment of the most appropriate resources based on their availability, skills, aspirations, and experience.
Prioritise competing resourcing requests, manage resourcing clashes, and provide solution-oriented approaches.
ABOUT YOU
10 + years experience in a similar role
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Experience in programs including salesforce and CRM systems is highly regarded.
Ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion.
A proactive, collaborative mindset and demonstrated capacity to work independently and within a team environment.
Adaptable and solution-focused, demonstrating a can-do attitude to address challenges effectively.
Excellent communicator with both internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent time management skills including working to deadlines.
Operates seamlessly at both strategic and operational levels.
Strong writing skills, coupled with advanced proficiency in MS Office tools.
Financial management & invoicing experience.
Passion for employee experience and supporting others.
Good people person with a positive demeanour and can-do attitude that loves working in a dynamic team environment.
