All Interactive Distribution has an opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join a rapidly growing, fast-paced organisation that prides itself on being at the forefront of technology and innovation.
Primarily working with our state-of-the-art, custom-built, software platforms in our company owned warehouse, you'll have the opportunity to work alongside a very experienced, friendly and established warehouse team, supporting them with day-to-day direction while liaising with our sales and customer service teams.
Take ownership and play a vital role in maintaining, improving, and implementing positive changes to our distribution and 3PL procedures.
This role is not for the faint hearted as this is a high pressure position. We are a “new release” business and we often experience shorter than required deadlines to get product out to our clients. AID is known for it’s “Can Do” attitude so it is importance so it is importance to maintain that long standing culture.
Example duties include:
- Working with our various software modules.
- Managing the flow of incoming orders and allocating tasks to your supervisors.
- Prioritising out going invoices.
- Maintaining tracking spreadsheets across the Purchasing and suppliers.
- Managing freight company relations and pricing.
- Managing consumables and supplier relations and pricing.
- Encourage a polite and friendly work environment.
Required Knowledge and Skills
- A strong proficiency in Microsoft Office – particularly Excel.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and administrative skills.
- High level of communication skills, both oral and written, including report writing.
- Motivated, enthusiastic, and disciplined.
- Ability to work within a team to create a fun, positive culture.
- Experience in a similar role is required.
