As we scale up to the next level, we are seeking an A-grade and hands-on leader in the role of Operations Manager who will continue to steer the heart of our business to long-term success. This is a vitally important job that requires planning and leadership experience, as well as a thorough understanding of warehousing and logistics.

Your key responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor warehouse staff to achieve performance goals and objectives.
- Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee inventory management processes, including cycle counts, stock rotation, and inventory reconciliation.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimise shrinkage, excess stock, and stockouts.
- Coordinate order fulfilment processes to ensure accurate and timely shipment of customer orders.
- Collaborate with sales and customer service teams to prioritise orders and meet customer expectations.
- Liaise with shipping carriers and logistics partners to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve any delivery issues.
- Implement process improvements and cost savings within the warehouse operations.
- Conduct regular quality inspections and audits to maintain high standards of product quality and service.
Requirements:
- Five years or more management experience with the ability to lead and motivate others.
- Five years or more experience in managing a warehouse (preferably in the medical supply industry), with full understanding of its health and safety and security requirements.
- A warehouse, distribution or supply chain qualification would be advantageous.
- Knowledge and understanding of lean techniques would be advantageous.
- Ability to influence positive organisational culture.
- Proven ability to build optimal relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strategic mindset and ability to link strategy with operational activity and outcomes.
- Strong financial acumen and management accounting literacy.
