Over 40 years of specialising in personal injury law, they have a proud history of acting for injured people. A family-oriented firm. Specialist areas include TAC, WorkCover, Superannuation, Medical Negligence.
THE ROLE
Daily duties are varied and will include:
- Supporting the Principal and other lawyers.
- Updating and maintaining client database.
- Opening and closing files.
- Preparing Court documents.
- Liaising with stakeholders ie clients, defendant solicitors, barristers and the Courts.
- Diary management.
- Dicta phone typing of various Court documents and correspondence.
- E-filing and E-briefs.
- General office administration including electronic and paper filing, emailing, scanning, mail and telephone management.
YOU
- PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN A SIMILAR ROLE IS A MUST!
- Good typing speed.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Knowledge of litigation process an advantage particularly personal injuries.
- Strong work ethic.
- Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of Leap or other legal software.
- A professional approach.
