Payroll Officer

Due to recent growth within our business, we are expanding our payroll team. We are looking for a Payroll Officer who will form part of the Corporate Shared Services team within the Servco Australia head office located in West End, Brisbane. 

Our payroll function supports 9 different business entities, each who operate on a separate fortnightly pay cycle – no easy feat! 

This role will work in partnership and collaboratively with our Payroll Specialist, our dealerships, the Australian HR team, and the global HR Systems team to ensure we are providing a best-in-class centralised payroll solution. 

Your responsibilities will include:

• Support payroll processing across 9 separate business entities, each on a different payroll cycle
• Liaise with the relevant internal and external technical teams on any issues requiring further support
• Support payroll related projects from a national and global perspective where required
• Assist management and the Executive teams on strategic analysis of payroll data
• Support any auditable matters in partnership with corporate and external parties
• Attend appropriate conferences and seminars to ensure your knowledge base is up to speed with the latest trends in payroll and payroll systems
• Other duties as required

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate experience with payroll processing. We will hold any experience using Unipay or Workday, in high regard. 

Your ability to solve complex problems while remaining calm under strict deadlines will help you succeed in this role.
