ABOUT THE ROLE
Due to ongoing growth, we have a Payroll Officer position available in our Payroll team in Toowoomba Head Office, on a full time basis. However Part Time Hours will be considered for the right applicant. Your responsibilities include:
- Setup & Maintain Payroll Records, including New Starters, Payroll Changes & Terminations
- Process end to end payroll for Mort & Co and associated entities in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with contracts, awards, enterprise agreements and legislative requirements
- Liaise with and support Employees & Site Administration in relation to requests and queries for information pertaining to payroll matters
- Interpret Awards, Enterprise Agreements & Employment Contracts
- Reconciling, processing and receipting payroll deductions for employees, including rent deductions, fuel deductions and salary sacrifice amounts
- ATO Compliance (PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax)
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in this position you'll have a background in business admin would be helpful and payroll experience definitely desirable. You’ll also bring:
- Proven experience in payroll position
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work in a team and take instruction
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Willingness to learn
