Payroll Officer

GO OFFSHORE Pty Ltd (GO) is an energy service company specialising in providing quality and safe marine and logistics services to the offshore oil and gas industry.  Currently we are operating and managing vessels working in Qatar, Timor Leste, United Kingdom, West Africa, Mexico, Brunei, and Australia.   The business is fast paced and provides exciting opportunities and diversification for an energetic, enthusiastic, and passionate Payroll/Accounts Officer to join our team. 

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Payroll Manger, this position is full-time and provides flexible working hours. 

The key responsibilities assigned to this role include but are not limited to:

• To aid the Payroll Manager in ensuring the timely and accurate data entry and processing of various company payrolls.
• To aid the Payroll Manager with all statutory and company reporting requirements on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis.
• Provide relief to run payrolls independently during periods where Payroll Manager is on leave. 
• Support the finance team with end of month reconciliations and reporting requirements.  

Pre-requisites

Although the successful candidate may not come from a marine background, it is a prerequisite that they can demonstrate at least 2 years' payroll experience. 

Previous exposure to ADP would be highly advantageous.
