- Recruitment Select are proudly seeking a Payroll Officer to assist our reputable client based 40 minutes out of Shepparton.
The Payroll Officer is responsible for providing high standard processing of Salary and Enterprise Agreement employee's weekly payroll payments, ensuring accuracy and seamless support to Team Managers and employees.
This role is a Full-Time, working a 38 hour week. You will be required to work closely with Factory Operations Managers for roster development, analysis, adjustment and leave predictions.
Duties will include:
- Review time in attendance timesheets, confirming alignment with rosters
- Maintain employee records including leave deductions and balances
- Weekly roster analysis & pay rate adjustments as required
- Calculate superannuation payments
- PAYG payment
- Calculate and submit monthly Payroll Tax
- Process monthly payroll journals
- Balance leave entitlements
- Enterprise Agreement (EA) interpretation & assist in EA Negotiations where required
- Administer Workcover claims
- New roster development and implementation into Kronos
- Year End Payroll processes
- Manage casual and seasonal employment agreements ensuring compliance to Fairwork rules
Experience & Qualifications:
- Sound Payroll experience Minimum three years' experience in an equivalent position
- Solid computer and MS Office skills
- Strong data entry skills and high level of attention to detail, coupled with experience in managing compliance activities.
- Excellent written and verbal skills including the ability to build strong relationships
