As the People and Culture Advisor, you will be the driving force behind creating a workplace where our employees thrive. You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business objectives, focusing on fostering a positive and inclusive culture. This part-time (0.6 FTE) role requires a hands-on approach, as you will work closely with the management team to address HR issues, lead the performance management system, and set goals that contribute to the overall success of the group.
Key responsibilities include:
Employee engagement
• Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement within the organisation
• Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through effective communication and employee relations
HR Strategy and Management
• Collaborate with the management team to understand and support business goals through the aligning of appropriate HR strategies
• Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures and best practice methods to ensure compliance and a positive employee experience
• Manage and maintain the online HR system
Performance Management
• Responsible for the performance management framework and associated processes
• Support management team and staff in the setting and monitoring of goals across the organisation
What you will need…….
• Willingness to work across all facets of HR ranging from strategy to administration
• Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations and policies
• Relevant qualifications in Human Resources or similar
• Experience at a similar level in an SME
• Working knowledge of HR online software
• Appropriate qualifications in HR (desirable)
• Ability to create, implement and drive a successful organisational culture
• Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organisation’s hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
