This unique part-time position provides flexibility for individuals interested in working either 3, 4, or even 5 days a week. Our work structure allows flexible working and the specific workdays are adaptable, but the requirement is to commit to 24 hours weekly. There may also be the option of committing to a 32 hour working week if preferred.
As the People & Capability Manager for Wholesale Services you will provide corporate support two General Managers and play a pivotal role in shaping and implementing people and capability strategies to support the success of our Wholesale Pharmacy Business Development and Product and Replenishment teams.
In this newly created role, you will be responsible for providing expert coaching, guidance, and support to leaders on a broad range of people and capability matters, including organization design, change management, capability development, culture and engagement, leadership effectiveness, employment relations, and performance development. Your role is crucial in attracting, retaining, and developing top talent while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and best practices.
- Partner with General Managers and their teams to manage employment-related risks.
- Provide sound advice, coaching, and recommendations based on a deep understanding of employment regulations.
- Contribute to the development and execution of people and capability strategies aligned with Wesfarmers Health goals.
- Support in setting and implementing people initiatives, leveraging data and insights.
- Provide trusted advice to leaders on various people and capability matters.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Design and develop workforce plans to ensure the right capabilities at the right time.
- Execute the annual People Cycle across performance, talent, etc.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
There will also be some infrequent interstate travel required.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive experience supporting at GM level, in a corporate strategic people partnering role.
- Experience in a fast-paced, matrix organization with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, policies, and employment legislation.
- Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and delivering HR projects.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
