Seeking a P&C Manager to join a construction company on a full time, permanent basis

Your new company is a leading construction organisation based in Melbourne, who are seeking a People & Culture Manager to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.
Your new role
As a People & Culture Manager, you will be responsible for providing advice and guidance on people-related matters and working in both a strategic and operational capacity, to support the implementation of a diverse range of people-focused programs and frameworks, to achieve the organisation's workforce capabilities, employer value proposition support the achievement of the organisation’s strategy.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Provide advice and support to managers and staff in relation to all people-related matters, such as employee relations, policy and procedure, performance management, change initiatives and learning and development
- Support line managers with end-to-end recruitment activity, including all onboarding and inductions
- Work with line managers on annual staff performance reviews, and any subsequent training and development to support staff development and career growth
- Support the organisation with the achievement of recognised accreditations, with a focus on DE&I, culture and people
- Conduct and analyse employee engagement surveys and make appropriate recommendations
- Being a key player in driving people-related initiatives, employee engagement and a high performance culture
- Previous experience in a similar role where you have worked at a strategic level within the HR function to meet organisational goals and objectives
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or other related field
- Sound knowledge of employment law and local legislation
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Previous experience within the construction industry, or similar would be advantageous
- Experience with Employment Hero would also be desirable
- Available to work 5 days on-site, with occasional interstate travel required
