Meet your team
Sitting within our Practice Management Group, our People Experience (PE) team consists of specialist pillars, including; People Advisory & Operations, Learning and Development, Talent, and Employee Experience & Engagement.
People ExperienceBusiness Partner is a strategic and operational role, where you will be responsible for a team of at least one indirect report.
About the role
The People ExperienceBusiness Partner role is a 12-month parental leave cover.
As part of the role, you will provide guidance to senior leaders on a broad range of people matters, implementing cyclical HR activities within dedicated practice groups and working on strategic HR projects and initiatives.
You will work closely with key internal and external stakeholders to ensure policies, practices and programs are addressed at Firm and individual Practice Group level.
Key responsibilities

  • Provide assistance and guidance to the business on employee related matters including; employee development, performance and remuneration, well-being and benefits, employee relations and change management;
  • Case management support on workplace relations matters, including performance management, misconduct, sick leave, grievances and disputes, terminations, bullying, harassment and discrimination;
  • Conduct analysis of HR metrics and trends to determine areas for improvement and implementation within your designated practice groups with opportunity to be rolled out to wider business
  • Lead and/or support HR projects and initiatives such as policy development, improvement of existing processes, and implementation of new systems.
  • Develop strong and trusting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Related tertiary qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or related discipline. HR Business Partnering experience and the delivery of strategic initiative within a professional services firm is highly desirable.
Technical excellence
Best practice and HR generalist knowledge, with strong understanding of Fair Work Act and employment law.
Team Player and time management
Consultative and collaborative approach, with ability to manage multiple business priorities and projects.
