Role: HR Consultant – grow your Project and BP Skills
Location: Sydney Alexandria (Hybrid working) at least one day per week in the office

Goodstart are currently seeking a HR Consultant (internal title is People Specialist Projects) to work with our National People and Culture team on initiatives and projects to support our people plan. In addition, you will work with our Senior Business Partnering team to develop your business partnering skills with the intention of owning a client relationship.
Your Impact:
- Design and deliver people projects and initiatives aligned to our organisational objectives
- Collaborate cross functionally to provide a people focussed lens across a range of projects and activities
- Maintaining a continuous improvement focus across all people practices and engaging with relevant stakeholders to create stronger solutions together
- Work collaboratively with the broader P & C team to identify, develop and implement key organisational culture and engagement initiatives and strategies.
- Facilitate group-based forums in support of initiatives that influence and involve stakeholders in forming solutions
- Use effective project management skills to ensure activities are delivered effectively
- Use effective change management practices to implement new or improved people frameworks and tools with our leaders, at scale
- Stepping in to cover leave for Business Partners state based clients

You’ll bring to the table:
- Have a bachelor’s degree in a HR/Business or relevant discipline
- Projects experience, being involved in and leading elements of HR projects
- You may have a background in case management and are ready for the next step in your career
- Demonstrated change management experience in analysing, planning and managing people change
- Being organised and being able to manage to timelines
- Developing your generalist experience across all elements of the employee lifecycle
- Developing business acumen skills, using your understanding to connect people strategy to the achievement of business outcomes
- Leveraging your proven partnering skills to drive amazing employee experiences
- Have a systems lens, able to see how the separate elements fit together within HR and across the wider organisation and work effectively as a member of virtual functional and cross-functional teams.
- Be able to focus on priorities, using sound judgement to determine where to apply your efforts for greatest impact.
- Be adaptable and able to work in an environment that has periods of high activity (fast paced) and competing demands.
