Position Responsibilities
- Research and identify new client acquisition opportunities for Deltek across the Consulting, Agency and Research sectors.
- Successfully generate opportunities, supported by a successful SDR function, to continuously build and sustain a healthy pipeline of opportunities
- Align our software tools with customer business objectives, and capably articulate the value in our solutions
- Collaborate effectively with cross functional teams to ensure we deliver outstanding customer service to our customers
- Coordinate virtual teams in often complex sales cycles, including stakeholders from solution engineering, consulting, legal and customer success organisations.
- Successfully develop relationships, craft compelling proposals, present, negotiate, and close deals with a high degree of autonomy
You will ideally have experience within a similar new business role, specifically within business application Software license sales with at least 5 years proven Solution sales experience. You will have a pedigree in self-prospecting (i.e. to secure appointments and develop market intelligence), and other networking techniques to establish credibility and open new business opportunities. This is something you must be comfortable to continue doing.
- You will have exceptional sales and closing skills (verbal and written communication skills, and proven negotiation techniques), be able to present effectively and to sell to high-level and/or C-level executives.
- The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of enterprise applications and project-oriented businesses.
- Industry experience in Professional Services and or Financial Service is beneficial.
- As a self-motivated individual, you will be naturally inquisitive about how technology can support business operations and be able to clearly communicate complex ideas to all levels of business sponsor.
- You will be used to selling a service have made Solution Selling, Customer Centric Selling or SPIN Selling work for you and understand the processes and will be able to support software presentations with the appropriate industry dialogue.
