Are you a highly organised and motivated individual with a passion for healthcare administration? The profit for purpose LVF Eye Centre is a leading eye care facility that provides comprehensive eye care services to adult patients.

We are opening a new facility and are seeking a full-time Practice Manager to join our team and play a crucial role in expanding our clinical services by setting up the facility in Brisbane's eastern suburbs and managing patient bookings.  The role will allow a temporary work from home arrangement.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Practice Manager will initially be responsible for overseeing the procurement of necessary equipment, software, supplies, and furniture, and collaborating with vendors, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure the successful setup and future needs of the clinic.

You will oversee the day-to-day operations of the new branch of the LVF Eye Centre. This includes implementing and managing the scheduling system for patient appointments and working closely with healthcare providers to optimise the appointment schedule for efficiency and patient satisfaction. The Practice Manager will also be responsible for managing the clinic’s finances, including billing, expenses, and revenue targets.

This role is ideally suited to someone who is looking to return to the workforce.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Leadership and management skills, with experience managing a clinic or specialist medical practice
• Understanding of medicare and private health fund billing and coding, with experience managing finance and budgets
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, staff, and physicians
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Understanding of medical terminology and procedures
• Experience in ophthalmology or healthcare management is preferred
• Proficiency with Genie will be advantageous
