MAIN PURPOSES OF THE ROLE
Based in our Henderson Facility, the Procurement Officer will support our project team's procurement and inventory management function on a range of diverse Construction Projects across the Resources Sector.
Responsible for the administration functions surrounding purchasing and expedient provision of all required goods and services in accordance with the Primero policies, procedures and guidelines.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Responsible for Procurement Modules within MEX CMMS.
* Primary Point of Contact for Project Purchasing and Inventory Enquiries.
* Run stockholdings re-order reports through MEX CMMS.
* Support Site personnel with purchase order processing Inventory Management.
* Data Entry & Reporting within MEX.
* Develop professional working relationships with Suppliers.
ABOUT YOU
* High level of Organisational skills.
* Understanding of Supply Chain Processes.
* General knowledge of Ore Processing and Plant Equipment.
* Demonstrable experience in a similar administrative position.
* Strong relationship building skills.
* Ability to interpret part requirements.
* Intermediate skills within Microsoft Office specifically Excel.
* Excellence in customer service with internal and external stakeholders.
* Previous experience with MEX CMMS (or equivalent) will be advantageous.
* Formal Qualification in Business and Administration will be highly regarded.
