The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join our team and manage Wren Oil's supply chain. 

To be successful in your application we require a positive attitude and a high degree of professionalism. You will need to show relevant demonstrable experience and abilities including but not restricted to the following:

• Source and negotiate external vendors to secure advantageous contractual terms.
• Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships, with a focus on relationship management.
• Devise and use fruitful sourcing strategies.
• Track and report key functional metrics the reduce expenses and improve service effectiveness.
• Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries
• Control spend and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs
• Lead and participate in all inventory stock-take management.
• High level of reporting and communication is maintained with all Senior Management & stakeholders

Essential                         

Current WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s License.

Minimum 1 year experience in a procurement, purchasing or contract management related role 

Proficient computer & associated software skills.

Highly self - motivated and focused

Strong negotiation skills

High level of communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to perform a variety of physical tasks.

Good organizational skills.

Developed initiative, judgement and problem-solving skills.

Ability to pass a Pre-Employment medical and Drug & Alcohol test.
