Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Computer Aided Design (CAD) application and technical support, maintaining Invenio’s internal support system.
- Design and develop key components for clients, with a strong emphasis on developing Automotive parts
- Achieve/Maintain CAD certifications.
- Devise technical solutions to overcome design issues
- Maintain media associated with software support, perform installation in-house and/or on customer sites when required.
- Manage new software/hotfixes releases
- Manage relationship with Dassault Systèmes tech team, with occasional ordering of new software.
- Review customer requirements and provide POC/ROI along with system requirement recommendations.
- Visit customer sites regularly, design value assessment visits (issues/in-efficiencies in design process).
Requirements
Required Skills & Knowledge
- Strong hands-on technical experience using Catia (essential).
- At least 5 years of industry experience in a CAD design or related role preferred.
- Understanding of 2D and 3D CAD methodologies.
- Understanding of computer systems, network and security concepts.
- Understanding of Change & Version/Revision Management process.
- Software experience (C, C++, Java etc.) an advantage.
- Strong communication skills, being able to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
