As the Production Manage on the afternoon shift, your day will include:
Providing leadership and direction in formulating and recommending manufacturing policies and programs
Coordinate the manufacturing of products including adhering to output targets
Ensuring all relevant personnel have clear and understandable directions
Maintaining adherence to manufacturing practises
Liaising closely with the day-to-day operations of all manufacturing, distribution, purchasing and laboratory staff
Continually and proactively demonstrating strong leadership acumen
The setting and measurement of expenditure budgets in conjunction with the Operations Manager
Undertaking Quality, Environmental and Safety audits to ensure the requirements are met to maintain compliance
Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, and improved efficiencies

Are you looking for a rewarding role working within a supportive team where you can really make a difference?
Do you have:
Relevant trade or tertiary qualifications such as Maintenance Fitter, Mechanic, Mechanical Engineering or similar
Passion for lean manufacturing principals and a strong toolkit
A desire to continually look for the root cause of any issues
High level experience managing manufacturing, production, and maintenance duties within FMCG or a similar industry
Confidence using Microsoft suite, and SAP/ERP's
5+ years demonstrated experience in leading a manufacturing team, fostering positive workplace cultures, creating procedures, training staff, implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Strong leadership with a strategic vision and exceptional communication skills
You may be or have previously been a production manager, maintenance manager, reliability manager or manufacturing manager in a FMCG or similar environment and are looking for a change.
