Remuneration: AHP2 ($86,950 - $100,729 p.a. + 11% Super) / PO2 ($86,950-96,223 p.a. + 11% Super)The Department for Child Protection is seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Placement Services unit on a full-time term basis.The role is responsible for:
- Matching and assessing referrals for placement programs, including the Treatment Foster Care Oregon – Adolescents (TFCO-A), Next Steps, and Guardianship Family Day Care (GFDC) to ensure positive outcomes for children and young people in Out of Home Care.
- Developing, implementing and reviewing policies associated to work practices and providing regular reporting updates through the Out of Home Care Reform Steering Group (OOHCRSG) and associated committees.
- Providing placement consultation to DCP staff and external agencies to ensure there is a shared understanding of each Placement program and referral process.
- Acting as the central contact and communication point with case workers regarding each Placement program in terms of placement matching, referrals and placement transitions.
