The opportunity:
The Project Administrator is responsible for assisting a medium-sized team of engineers and project officers who are responsible for ensuring the safe and seamless operation of a chemical plant.
Responsibilities include:
• Updating key systems including the Project Management Office (PMO) system, cost reports and Management of Change (MoC) system documents;
• Importing documents into the document control system,
• Recording meeting minutes, updating and tracking actions;
• Preparing capital and operational expenditure reports for board packs;
• Developing budgets and project cost forecasting;
• Tracking expenditure against budget and actioning cost transfers;
• Developing project progress reports; and
• Reviewing and updating KPI’s based information/data from multiple systems.
Selection Criteria:
Ideally you be highly experienced in Project Administration and have excellent, analytical, problem solving and organisational skills. You will require experience in preparing and analysing cost reports and budgets, tracking expenditure and preparing documents for board level. You will also require knowledge of document control and be proficient in the use of Power BI dashboards, ERP systems (preferably JDE ) and document control software. Your experience in an engineering, heavy industry or manufacturing environment together with your excellent interpersonal skills will see you secure this long-term contract.
