Your new company
Your new company is a house hold name, and one of Australia's largest Internet Service Providers, with a strong precense in the market. With almost forty years of experience, this is a great opportunity to work in the deployment of telecoms, and witness the role out off projects from conception to deployment. Having gone from strength to strength, this company is now looking for an experienced Project Administrator to work help support the head of Fibre Design with administrative tasks.
Your new role
This is a six month contract position, that has the opportunity to be extended for the right candidate. Based out of Milton, Brisbane, you will be reporting into the head of Network Design, and responsible for supporting end to end project delivery, coordination of relevant project documentation, and internal reports to project teams. This will all be done within the Fibre Optic space, so experience with validating invoices relating to facilities access agreements is advantageous, but not mandatory.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to succeed, you will have experience with AutoCAD, GIS softwares, and some technical knowledge around fibre cable installations, or some knowledge around fibre optic deployment. You will have worked in a similar Project Administration position and understand what is required as a Project Officer or Project Coordinator. You will be able to speak with internal and external stakeholders, and have experience in scheduling and planning in accordance with best practise standards. ICT or Telecommunication delivery experience is advantageous, but not required.
