About the role:
This role is within our IT enterprise portfolio delivery team and is aligned with the delivery of technology projects for our Integrated Gas (IG) Operational Technology (OT) Services group which spans the OT Network, Communications, Infrastructure and Security domains.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the transformation of our transmission network across our IG remote field sites which aims to mitigate several critical end-of-life risks, in an efficient, cost-effective manner that also simplifies the controls and telecommunications networks by consolidating various physical environments and technologies.
Why this role matters?
- Engagement of business stakeholders, validating their requirements and success metrics for the project.
- Management of project schedule, monitoring and addressing variations to timelines and scope.
- Accountable for cost control and adherence to project budgets.
- Identification, logging and driving resolution of Issues, Risks & Assumptions.
- Manage suppliers against signed statements of work and project schedule.
- Managing project team and shared resources to deliver project outcomes.
- Managing the implementation through the engineering change governance process.
What will you bring?
You will have proven project delivery track record within a large corporate organisation, a background in delivering Network or Communications equipment related projects.
- 5+ years’ experience working in a Project Manager or related role within a technology team.
- 2+ years’ experience working on Operational Technology related projects.
- Evidenced experience setting up effective project governance and communication structures to proactively engage and inform project stakeholders.
- Previous energy industry experience, in particular knowledge of how gas wells operate and complexities of delivering work in remote field locations.
- Experience in delivering Network or Communications equipment related projects
- Requirement to travel as needed to IG remote field sites as needed.
