Your Rare Opportunity
We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our landscape construction team, the role will see you working from our Head Office in Underwood, reporting to the Project Development Manager, and working alongside other foremen to successfully deliver the project. You will exhibit superior leadership, and people management skills, with a proven ability to encourage a culture that promotes excellence, professionalism, teamwork, and accountability.
About the role:
Working closely with the senior management team, this role requires a proactive and dynamic individual with landscape project management experience in a similar role. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of multiple landscape projects at any given time,
- Managing all aspects of a diverse range of landscape construction scope of work to successful completion on time and within budget.
- Comprehensive and articulate contracts management, administering contracts issued by clients.
- Ensuring all projects are completed in total compliance with the company's Integrated Management Systems for Safety, Quality, and Environmental.
- Establish and maintain a positive and productive client relationship to assist in project delivery and maximise the opportunity for repeat business.
- Planning and utilising the right plant and labour resources to ensure the cost-effective, safe delivery of tasks and projects.
- Produce monthly revenue and cost forecasting reports.
- Effectively managing contractual matters, including variations and progress claims.
- Achieving project completion to the satisfaction of our clients, and the company.
The following experience and attributes are required for the position.
- Tertiary qualification in landscape architecture, civil engineering, and construction management- highly desirable.
- Proven track record delivering a wide range of commercial landscape construction projects.
- Strong management skills with the ability to manage, mentor, and coach a team of highly skilled people.
- Good negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to plan, organise and communicate well with others to manage multiple priorities whilst delivering the project within time, cost, and quality constraints.
- Highly effective skills in evaluating and administering contracts, drawings, specifications, and Australian Standards.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Projects.
This is a full-time position an excellent remuneration including a fully serviced company vehicle with a fuel card and toll pass.
Salary: $90,000- $110,000 per year plus super, wages are paid weekly.
