In Australia, CHL provides end-to-end affordable housing development and a long-term housing and tenancy management operation. This includes engagement with communities where there is a housing need, project conception, securing finance, land acquisition, project design, and construction supervision, and long-term rental management of housing for low to moderate-income people.
The Role – Project Development Manager
Reporting to the Asset Portfolio Development Manager, the Project Development Manager is responsible for providing support across developments within the Community Housing LTD group. The Project Development Manager will work closely with the finance, development, and delivery team to ensure projects are successfully completed on time and within budget.
As The Project Development Manager, you will:
- Manage developments
- Be involved in the preparation of business cases/ project submissions/ government proposals
- Manage and build stakeholder relationships
- Provide evidence base to modelling assumptions, submissions, and tenders
- Analyse property and finance data
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure quality outcomes
- Follow Community Housing LTD social, ethical and organisational standards
- Project Management capability and experience
- Understanding of construction or development sector highly regarded
- Advanced computer/ technical skills
- Background in analysing property/housing and financial data
- Advanced reporting skills
- Proven success with stakeholder engagement
- High level communication, verbal and written
- Time management and ability to work autonomously
