Eden Ritchie is seeking 2 x Project Support Officers to provide administrative support services for all aspects of the day to day operations of the project members in the Business Services Team, for the project ensuring the provision of professional, timely and confidential administrative support.

As the Project Support Officer, your key responsibilities will include:
- Provide administrative support services including data base administration, word processing, office logistics support (purchasing of office supplies, bookings, and minor equipment), correspondence tracking, file management and electronic mail.
- Communicate with various levels of management, the general public, industry, senior executives from public and private organisations and divisional staff on a wide range of issues.
- Carefully analyse enquiries or requests from internal and external stakeholders, and research, determine and take appropriate action on behalf of the Business Manager.
- Proactively manage diary requirements of the Discipline Lead to enable efficient use of time. Schedule, organise and attend meetings, seminars and conferences and co-ordinate all necessary administrative support for such meetings. Take notes and prepare minutes for distribution if required.
- Monitor, maintain, update and progress correspondence and related filing systems to ensure deadlines are met and results are consistent with government and departmental standards.
- Manage travel related requirements including accommodation bookings, car hire, air travel and taxi vouchers.
- Provide accurate and effective support to the section of routine administrative processes for Human Resources, Finance, Procurement and other business requirements as required with a focus on completion of activities within required timeframes.
- Provide Local Systems Administrator (LSA) support and any necessary training for the timesheet management system.
- Provide records management support and guidance to section staff as required.
- Provide Document Control support particularly regarding archiving.
- Participate in capability development activities required to perform efficiently and effectively in the role, and assist other team members to develop new capabilities when required.
- Participation in and contribution to the Administration Support Network.
While not mandatory, a relevant tertiary qualification and/or experience in working in a major infrastructure project environment would be highly desirable.
