About the Role
Teys Australia is seeking an enthusiastic and driven Purchasing Officer with highly developed organisational skills to join the Asset Management team based at our Rockhampton processing site in Central Queensland. The role will be responsible for the coordination of the purchasing and stores across plant operations.
Overall role requirements include:
- Assisting with purchasing, storage and distribution.
- Maintaining required stock levels.
- Maintaining consumable stock levels.
- Undertaking stock takes.
- Provide administrative support to Purchasing and Stores Manager.
- Raising purchase orders, invoicing, goods receipting.
- Liaising and communicating with internal and external stakeholders.
About You
It is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
- Two (2) years or more experience in purchasing and stores.
- Strong computer and numeracy skills.
- Experience using JDE, MP2 or similar ERP software
Desirable:
- Experience in manufacturing industry.
- Forklift License
