We provide fully integrated environmental and social assessment and management services including concept and feasibility, technical assessment, consultation, approvals, delivery, operation, and decommissioning.
Our Newcastle office is currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Quality and Systems Support Officer to join our Quality, Workplace, Health & Safety team.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Co-operate in close partnership with all Umwelt staff nationwide to operationally deliver the full range of Quality and compliance services
- Maintain all aspects of the Umwelt Quality and Management System to ensure it is appropriate, effective, kept up to date and continuously improved to meet the needs of the business and any legislative changes.
- Update and implement the Quality and Systems framework, policies, procedures, and reporting requirements to meet legislative compliance.
- Provide high level administration of all QHSE and WHS documentation, coordination and maintenance of employee training records, presentations, executive reports, and correspondence as required
- Coordinate and implement certification requirements
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
- Coordinate surveys related to WHS and quality
- Provide support and services to assist Project Managers in preparing WHS and quality material for proposals and projects
- Support internal and external audits to assess compliance with quality standards and regulations
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and quality improvement projects
You will have:
- Relevant Quality and Systems experience
- Understand or able to demonstration WHSE systems and processes understanding
- An ability to complete internal auditing and demonstrate risk mitigation techniques
- Have experience in identifying improvements within our management systems
- Understand compliance and accompanying systems, monitor and measure safety outcomes
- Have strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines
- High level of confidentiality and reliable and flexible.
- Advanced computer literacy skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Outlook
