IKAD Engineering Pty Ltd is organisation which provides a broad range of project management and engineering solutions for Western Australian Industry. An exciting opportunity has arisen for the position of Receptionist / Administration Assistant to join our team on a Full Time Basis, in the Henderson Office.
This position will be reporting to the Administration Manager. We are seeking for someone who is able to juggle many tasks at once and accomplish the tasks allocated with thoroughness and accuracy. Attention to details is the key to this position. The role is multi-tasked and will involve but not be limited to the following:
- Reception Duties: Answer phone calls in a polite and efficient manner and direct them to relevant staff, take messages or attend to minor queries.
- Meeting and greeting visitors.
- Boardroom set up for meetings and organising refreshments.
- Enter timesheets and follow up on missing timesheets daily.
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing correspondence in accordance with Company Procedures.
- Assist with typing, data entry and other clerical & office work as directed.
- Maintenance of databases, registers, and records daily.
- Format and prepare documentation where required.
- General office & reception duties.
This role is essential to our business and as such we are looking for a candidate who meets the criteria listed below:
- Previous experience in administration & reception.
- Strong administrative skills are a must along with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel & Outlook.
- Excellent work ethic, self-motivation, and confidence.

- Punctuality and Reliability
- Able to work effectively as a team member
- Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels of business.
- Time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Good typing skills with accuracy in spelling and grammar.
