Due to ongoing growth and expansion BIS is seeking suitably skilled Individuals to join our team.
The key responsibilities of this position are:
- Receive and direct all incoming telephone calls to the appropriate personnel
- Greet visitors upon entry into the building and assist them as required
- Ensure that internal telephone directories are current and distributed accordingly
- Coordinate daily mail distribution and postage
- Stock photocopying machines with paper and consumables as required
- Perform general administrative duties including filing, photocopying and typing general correspondence
- Maintain staff movements register
- Record meeting minutes as requested
- Scan accounts payable invoices for the accounts team
- Compile stationery requests and maintain relevant stock levels
- Maintain company standards for Quality Assurance purposes
- Present neat documentation, correspondence and records as requested
- Provide accurate daily, weekly and monthly reports as directed
- Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed
A receptionist is the first point of contact for any organisation, setting the tone for the entire visitor experience. This role requires exceptional communication and organisational skills, a professional demeanor, and a friendly attitude.
The role is flexible on working hours between 8.00am and 4.30pm Monday to Friday and an alternative working arrangement could be considered.
