Dillon Bowers Lawyers is a boutique Townsville law firm specialising in Native Title, Property and Commercial law, Wills and Estates, and Litigation. We pride ourselves on having a fun and friendly work environment and achieving a work-life balance for all staff.
We are seeking applicants for a part-time receptionist. This will be a job-share position which will entail alternating 2/3-day weeks. We are conscious of exam periods and will be flexible regarding study leave.
For law students, we offer the possibility of further graduate opportunities, PLT placements, and possible employment as a Solicitor.
Primary responsibilities of the successful applicant will include:
- Being the first point of contact on all incoming telephone calls and client appointments;
- Arranging Solicitor appointments and calendars;
- Attending to deliveries of the firm including banking, filing and lodging of various documents in the CBD;
- Controlling and maintaining the filling systems, archive management and safe custody records;
- Attending to flight/travel and accommodation bookings for Solicitors; and
- Maintaining stationery and office supplies.
The successful applicant will have the following qualities:
- Competent typing skills;
- Good communication skills;
- A working knowledge of Microsoft Office;
- Self-motivation and ability to work autonomously;
- Proactivity and a strong attention to detail;
- Good time management and organisation skills; and
- Driver's licence and own vehicle.
