EDU currently has two operating businesses, with campuses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, and Adelaide:

EDU has a Shared Services team, which includes the Group’s Sales and Marketing, Finance and Human Resources functions. The Shared Services teamwork with and service both ALG and Ikon.

About the role

The Regional Sales Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering sales/enrolment targets for international student recruitment for EDU, across VET and Higher education sectors.

In addition to establishing, maintaining and monitoring a network of quality agent partners onshore and offshore, and as required engaging directly with prospective students, this role will closely with the admissions and student experience teams in EDU’s subsidiary businesses to ensure the smooth operation of student recruitment activities, and careful management of their provider risk ratings through minimising visa rejections.

This role operates in a high-volume environment that focuses on meeting expected student recruitment / enrolment targets. The successful applicant may be required to work outside of normal working hours to attend events or meet required deadlines. Interstate and overseas travel may be required.

This role also offers a target-based incentive, in addition to the salary.

About you

You are demed experience in international student recruitment (ideally in both VET and HE) and are comfortable working in a fast-paced enviromment. You are comfortable meeting deadlines and working toward agreed targets without compromising on the quality of both, agent and student experience.

You can initiate and manage business relationships across a diverse group of cultures, work well in a team, and work autonomously. You have commendable communication and presentation skills and pride yourself on delivering excellent customer service to both external and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Tertiary qualification in the relevant field, postgraduate preferred.
  • Experience in the international student market is mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years' sales and marketing experience overall, preferably in international student recruitment
  • Experience in developing and implementing marketing and sales plans, and in account management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 and PRISMS
  • Knowledge on the Education Services for Overseas Students Act (2000) and its associated regulations, including the National Code of Practice for Registration Authorities and Providers of Education and Training to Overseas Students (2007)
  • Positive attitude and ability to think creatively and bring innovation to EDU and its subsidiaries.
