About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Manager Finance, you will have the opportunity to oversee the implementation and management of a robust governance, regulatory, and industry compliance and risk management function.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and enhance the current Risk Management & Compliance systems, activities, and frameworks to support operations.
- Identify and manage emerging risks across the business by maintaining and understanding relevant industry and regulatory developments, legislation, and laws.
- Review, investigate and report as appropriate issues and or incidents of non-compliance.
- Proactively lead, coach, and develop Risk and Compliance organisational capability.
- Ensure Risk and Compliance systems, processes and polices are aligned with relevant legislation, regulations, and laws.
- Support and promote risk and compliance culture in all interactions with both internal / external stakeholders.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, such as law, commerce, or accounting.
- Recent, relevant experience in a risk and Compliance Managerial role.
- You should have comprehensive experience and technical skills in developing and maintaining risk/compliance management strategies, corporate and governance frameworks, and policies aligned with organizational objectives and risks.
- Demonstrable experience in identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risk and compliance to senior management and the board of directors is also required.
