About the role
Activ’s RTO, Pathways is a commercially focussed profit centre that delivers high quality training to students across WA. With a focus on a broad customer cohort, training is delivered to Activ staff members, supported employees and other community and commercial organisations.
The RTO Project Officer supports the Pathways Team with ongoing and ad hoc project activities including work placements, program initiatives and assisting with RTO promotion.
A typical day in the role may look like……
- Coordination of work placement opportunities for students studying with Activ Pathways to enable students to meet training obligations and gain real-life experience.
- Coordination of Auspice program initiatives.
- Assist with sales events and expo attendance, supporting the Business Development Manager.
- Undertake project work as directed, managing priorities effectively to deliver within agreed timelines.
- Build relationships with internal stakeholders, and external organisations, to support successful project initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have: -
- Demonstrated experience working within a registered training organisation or similar.
- Experience in the community services sector is highly desirable
- Customer centric approach with effective communication and strong relationship building skills
- Intermediate MS Office skills
