Our opportunity
We are seeking a qualified Sales Manager with prior experience in Business Print and Document Management to join our team. In this pivotal role you will be acting as the first line of management, directing the sales team to achieve predetermined sales targets from new and existing clients and ensuring complete customer satisfaction when dealing with the organisation.
Ideally you are a seasoned sales leader with a proven track record of driving success through client-facing interactions and are able to demonstrate a history of strong negotiation skills, building strong working relationships with our customers and managing strong and driven teams to achieve sales budgets. You should be able to demonstrate a problem solvers aptitude and a desire to work as part of a small but passionate and supportive team.
Responsibilities include:
- Working with the VIC Regional Manager, design and develop the business unit sales strategy.
- Provide on-the-ground and in the field support for Account Managers as they generate leads and close new deals.
- Motivating your direct reports and wider team to deliver on team / business unit strategy and targets.
- Effectively engage all relevant parts of the business to achieve the outcomes needed to implement the required activities.
- Drive sales team activity to ensure targets are achieved and effective movement through pipeline to achieve sales.
- Act as an escalation point for customer and prospect issues and take ownership of problem resolution.
- Meet with potential customers and grow long-lasting relationships that address their needs.
- Build and develop an engaged and high performing team.
- Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings.
Other requirements:
- Effective communication skills - written, listening and verbal.
- 2+ years management experience with demonstrated evidence of leading and developing a successful team.
- Assist with maintaining effective relationships with Major Account customers.
- Sound understanding of developing sales forecasting based on sales trends.
Qualifications, skills and experience required:
- Management, leadership, mentoring, business, accounting and reporting skills.
- Previous exposure to Business Print/Document Management/Technology/IT industry knowledge preferred.
- Ability to deal with clients at all levels and translate client needs into a complete solution.
- Current/Valid car driver's license.
In addition to the above, the successful candidate will be able to work effectively with customers and Toshiba team members across multiple departments and at various levels. Therefore, sound interpersonal skills, strong customer service orientation will ensure success.
