We are currently seeking a driven Merchandise Salesperson to join our team in Scone. What a great place to learn and develop your career!
About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Branch Manager and other members of staff, this role is responsible for providing sales and administration support including:
- Loading and unloading trucks, dispatching and unpacking orders and deliveries
- Forklift operation
- Managing stock storage and display areas
- Performing general administrative tasks including stock control, ordering, receipting, and dispatching of goods
- Assist customers with pricing and product queries
- Processing counter sales through POS
- Maintaining safety processes
- Assistance with merchandise campaign material
- Manual handling of products weighing up to 30kg
About You:
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive approach to work and practical organisation skills
- Effective verbal communications skills
- Problem solving skills and empathy to resolve customer and internal issues promptly
- Forklift ticket is advantageous or willingness to obtain at the expense of Nutrien
