About the Division
The Finance and Compliance Branch is responsible for ensuring that the financial records of the Department are maintained in an accurate manner that enables the timely extraction of financial data across the Department. In addition, the Branch is responsible for the compilation of the Department's financial and taxation reporting requirements to its various stakeholders, ensuring the Department's compliance with Financial Management, Taxation Compliance Frameworks, Financial Policies and providing DE accounting, tax, and insurance services for corporate, schools and Early Learning.

Mandatory Qualifications and Experience
- 2-3 years of experience in general insurance (underwriting, claims, or broking).
- Strong grasp of insurance principles and policy details.
- Tier 2 education level as per ASIC PS 146 Licensing: Training of financial product advisors.
Desirable - Diploma in General Insurance.
