Senior Receptionist / Administrator
PsychSpan is Psychology Practice offering psychological services to children, adults and families in the inner northern suburbs of Melbourne.
We are looking for:
- Someone passionate about working as part of a health care team.
- A professional yet warm manner with clients on the phone and in person.
- Someone who would like to contribute to the development and expansion of a growing Psychology Practice.
- Experience working in a Psychology Practice or health care field preferred but not essential if willing to learn. However, previous experience in reception required.
- Confident working independently but also as part of a larger team.
- Good computer skills including Microsoft suite of products
- Someone who is conscientious and detail orientated and able to take initiative/ has good problem solving skills
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Managing the reception desk including:
- Answering phones
- Greeting incoming clients
- Processing payments, Medicare rebates, coordinating with NDIS plan managers and sending invoices
- Accurate and timely data entry, including use of PowerDiary practice management software.
- Monitor and adhere to practice policies and protocols in the reception and clinic settings.
- Provide administrative support to psychologists.
- Be responsible for management/organisation of postal correspondence.
- Managing stock of stationary and psychological testing equipment
- Liaising with psychologists and management
- Managing incident reports
- overseeing psychologists calendars and admin rosters
- Act as in a supervisory role for reception team
- Liaise with local GP's and other health care services, including promotion of clinic for referral networks/pathways.
