Due to strong growth in our business, we are currently looking for an Inventory Controller & Supply Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, this permanent full-time position is based in Osborne Park. This position is working within a small warehouse team and is responsible for inventory control and the supply of materials to our customers and their operations.
About the Role:
- Monitoring and maintaining the stock levels and movements of products in the warehouse, storage locations and sites.
- Ordering parts and products, picking & packing orders.
- Managing deliveries and timeframes for dispatch and receipt of goods.
- Conducting rolling cycle/stock counts, stocktakes and/or investigations for discrepancies.
- Recording transactions, freight, stock movements, and bin locations.
- Collaboration with suppliers, customers, internal sales, and service departments etc.
- Generating invoices and preparation of reports.
- Full time, permanent (40 hours/week), annual bonuses and incentives.
Requirements:
- 5+ years’ experience in a similar role in the construction or mining sector.
- Exposure to a fast-paced high-volume warehouse/distribution environment.
- A high-level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in using Inventory Management software.
- Effective time management, prioritisation, and planning skills.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships.
- A team player with great communication skills to engage with people at all levels.
- Ability and willingness to comply with workplace health & safety requirements.
- Current C Class manual driver’s license
- Valid high risk forklift licence.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment medical and provide a police clearance.
