A bit about your role
The Social Media Specialist at NBN Co plays a vital role in protecting nbn’s reputation, promoting the NBN and managing the company’s engagement with Australians. Reporting into the Executive Manager Media and External Communications Customer, this role requires a blend of creative, analytical, and communication skills to effectively engage with customers (proactively and reactively) and to educate as well promote access to fast and reliable broadband.
A bit about you
If this sounds like the role for you then, it is likely you will have significant experience in working in communications and digital media with a focus on Social Media. Ideally, you’ll be well versed in demonstrating community management and Social Media management.
You have exceptional consumer brand experience, preferably working with large or multiple brands. Extensive experience working with Social Media platforms, content optimisation and media planning, insights, and reporting. Ability to develop and deploy strategic campaigns and tactical content across owned, earned, and paid channels.
You are an exceptional communicator with stakeholders at all levels, with the natural ability to communicate and influence with impact, conveying detailed concepts and information clearly and effectively. Proven ability to influence and upskill senior leaders and build enterprise wide buy in and alignment.
You possess the ability to manage load and ensure clarity across team members in a program of work which will include well defined programme aspects for delivery as well as highly variable exploratory discussions. Furthermore, the ability to work in agile ways of working and to handle rapidly changing environment and direction.
