Poachers Pantry is family operated restaurant, smokehouse and vineyard and weddings business located in Springrange, just 15 minutes from Gungahlin or Belconnen.
We are seeking a passionate Sous Chef to join our kitchen team.
This position will provide assistance to our Executive Chef during regular restaurant service (lunches) and during wedding season from September through to May.

You will be responsible for:
- Preparing food for weekly service
- Preparing order lists
- Keeping all work areas clean and hygienic
- Handling deliveries and stock rotation
- Assist with the training junior kitchen staff
This position is required to work Wednesday through Sunday, with core service days being Thursday to Sunday.
Skills and qualifications
- Formal chef / cook trade qualifications including knife skills and food handling is essential
- Organised and well presented
- Punctual, reliable, clear communication
- A willingness to learn, grow and have fun!
You must have your own transport.
