Located amongst the rolling green hills of South Gippsland 130k from Melbourne CBD and 15 minutes from the coast, McCartin's Hotel has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic professional.

McCartin's has been serving the local community and surrounding district (Population 30k within 30-minute proximity) for generations and has been recently refurbished to service the growing and changing demographic of Leongatha.

We are looking for an experienced chef or line cook to join our team to help further grow our bistro and separate wood fire pizza kitchen. 

The role and skill set required:

• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Chef, Chef De Partie or Line cook
• Strong knowledge of food and produce
• The ability to deliver a high standard of quality and consistency
• Communication and organisational skills

The successful candidate:

• A thirst to learn classic food and woodfire pizza
• Self-motivated with strong attention to detail
• Reliable and punctual
