Overview

• A wonderful opportunity for an experienced Medical Receptionist to work in a small busy office for a specialist ENT practice located in Doncaster. 
• The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in medical rooms, possess exceptional communication skills, must have excellent computer literacy skills and be proactive.  You will be kind and professional towards the patients with a focus on customer service.  An enthusiastic, friendly, and diligent manner will be highly regarded.
• You will enjoy working in this highly organised and efficient practice that provides outstanding service to their patients.

Days and Hours of Work: 

• Week 1 - Monday and Tuesday – 9.00 am – 5.00 pm
• Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday and Thursday – 9.00 am – 5.00 pm

Duties include:

• Meeting/greeting patients
• Use of EFTPOS machine and cash handling
• Process patient consultation accounts and process rebates through Medicare Online
• Scanning patient documents and records
• Answering telephone enquiries
• Scheduling appointments
• Preparing patient files for consultation days
• Sending letters by electronic fax system and database system
• Utilising Primary Clinic medical software
• Other administrative jobs as requested
• Must be able to cover sick leave/annual leave for other staff
