About the role:
As the Specifications Manager at Potter Interior Systems Christchurch, your role is pivotal in securing product specifications from architects and consultants in the commercial sector throughout the South Island. You will lead strategic initiatives to position our Potters product range as the preferred choice in high-profile projects, working closely with the sales team to align strategies and maximize market penetration. By fostering relationships with key stakeholders and leveraging market insights, you will drive growth and establish our products as industry standards in commercial construction and development.
- Grow existing client's usage of Potters product range through specification and project targeting in the commercial sector.
- Provide Product education through CPD or seminar series to educate architects and specifiers on performance of Potters Products, including comparison to competing products and systems.
- Develop presentations and present to industry participants and key customers.
- Drive and establish sales leads and grow the customer base.
- Target, retain and grow architectural customers and build strong, trusting relationships.
- Lead and partner with internal teams to deliver solutions that meet the customers needs.
- Mentor and coach Account Managers and Senior Account Managers to ensure maximum results from known opportunities.
What you bring to the role:
- Minimum of 5 years architectural specification including a track record of successfully securing large commercial and government projects.
- Demonstrate a track record of identifying new construction projects and a proven ability to influence the specifier to use Potters systems and ensure those specifications stick.
- The ability to grasp the technical application of Potters Products and match them to solutions for the clients.
- Engineering, Business or Design qualification would be ideal.
