You are an experienced Sales professional, either in a National Sales role currently or a Sales Manager in a winning team. Indeed, it may be time for you to step up into a Sales Manager role! You still have the drive to achieve and exceed sales quotas, drive current business clients; but have the hunger to grow the new business segment as well.

About the role:
Reporting to the Commercial Sales Director you will be responsible for sales into the Sport, Recreation and Education / Schools business sector - delivering profitable sales growth for the organisation. That is existing, new and targeted customers, across Australia and NZ.
Key functions of this role include:
- Act as the face of the organisation for all Sales: existing and new business initiatives.
- Actively pursue new clients by putting into place strategic, targeted approaches
- Develop and be responsible for the implementation of the annual Sport, Recreation and Education business plan
- Work with the Commercial Sales Director to define both geographic ( States & Territories ) and sales targets and solutions.
- Work closely with the Commercial and Marketing teams to ensure the Strategic Sales plan is being rolled out , and that everyone has bought into your vision for sales success
- Develop a work environment that encourages collaboration and true teamwork, contribution of new ideas and continuous improvement where everyone has a voice.
With a preferred background or experience within big Sales: Sport , Recreation and Education / Schools. You present with a successful sales track record within a large organisation. You are a well trained, an experienced sales leader capable of selling to existing customers , but also have demonstrated the sales skills to identify and win new business. Your communication and negotiation skills are excellent, and you have demonstrated an ability to lead and influence others. A business degree or commerce degree would be highly recommended.
