About the role:
The Team Manager will be based in our Ipswich office and will report directly to the Operations Manager. Some of the responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provide leadership, coaching and support to the Social Work (Foster Care) teams.
- Provide management support to service delivery employees, including but not limited to; case management, clinical decision making, duty of care issues and client service delivery.
- Support the implementation of operational plans alongside the broader leadership group, ensuring strategic objectives are well understood and executed by clinical employees.
- Deliver services to clients including but not limited to complex case management, assessment, intake and risk screening, case planning, case reviews, co-service delivery and critical incident response.
- Work closely with the Operations Manager to ensure that the social work team is appropriately resourced, managed and supported, including taking responsibility for the recruitment and retention of social workers in the team.

About you:
- Must possess a full, current Australian driver’s licence.
- Must hold a Social Work qualification as recognised by the AASW or equivalent body.
- Demonstrated experience working as a qualified Social Worker in a children and family setting, including the supervision of staff.
- Ability to communicate clearly and sensitively with young people and adults.
- Ability to create a positive working environment where people have the opportunity to reach their potential.
- A comprehensive working knowledge of all relevant legislation pertaining to children’s services, including current best practice.
